Eco Divino 6 de Febrero 2012.

La reflexión de hoy está tomada del Evangelio según san Marcos, todos se acercaban a Jesús para ser curados, intentaban tocarlo y esa es una conducta que nosotros no hemos podido superar.

La mayoría de las personas se acercan a Jesús precisamente para pedirle milagros, el milagro de la salud y está bien que uno haga eso, pero uno no solamente asiste a Dios como si Dios fuera un médico, uno tiene que tener una visión mucho más amplia de quién es Dios en la vida y precisamente todos esos milagros Jesucristo los hizo para centrar nuestra atención en el Gran Misterio que es Dios y sin embargo nosotros seguimos como empecinados en ver solamente a Dios de esa forma y cuando Dios nos bendice con el don de la salud entonces tenemos grandes conflictos en la fe y las relaciones que nosotros logramos desarrollar con Él son extremadamente limitadas.

Yo tengo una gran preocupación y no es un secreto para quien me conoce, que hace más de 35 años nosotros en la Iglesia hemos optado por desarrollar esa parte de healing, de curación, de la parte vamos a decir sanatoria, del misterio de Dios y hemos olvidado muchas veces lo que es la compasión, lo que es el amor, lo que es el servicio y otros aspectos de los cuales Dios nos invita fundamentalmente a desarrollar por el conocimiento que tenemos de Él.

Nosotros nos acercamos a Dios precisamente para que nos cure, nos cure de las enfermedades y cuando eso sucede todo está bien.

Yo tengo como sacerdote, la experiencia de mucha gente que ha pasado por el cáncer y los primeros días, aquello está bueno, que bebe agua bendita pues, y apenas el médico le dice que ya usted está fuera de eso, vuelve a vivir como si Dios no existiera y esa relación existe constantemente con la gente que tiene accidentes de tránsito, con la gente que tiene un infarto, uno ya tiene una experiencia, uno sabe que eso dura aproximadamente como un mes después que eso sucede, después de ese momento la gente inmediatamente vuelve a su antigua costumbre, es decir le importa, no tiene una relación íntima, profunda con Dios, habiendo aún tenido una experiencia cercana a la muerte y no es que la muerte lo tiene que acercar a uno a Dios, es que uno es un ser extremadamente interesado, uno busca a Dios para que le resuelva a uno sus asuntos, uno no busca a Dios para manifestarle uno el amor que uno siente por Él, la gratitud que uno siente por Él, por haber recibido la vida y el estar aquí y ahora.

El Señor esté con ustedes, y la bendición de Dios todopoderoso Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo, descienda sobre ustedes, su familia, sus trabajos, los cuide y los acompañe siempre. Amen.

Today's reflection is taken from the Gospel of Mark, all came to Jesus to be healed, trying to touch and that is a behavior that we have not been overcome.

Most people come to Jesus just to ask for miracles, the miracle of health and well you do that, but one not only attends to God as if God were a doctor, one must have a much broader view of who God is just in life and all the miracles Jesus Christ did to turn our attention to the Great Mystery that is God and yet we continue as bent on seeing only God in this way and when God blesses us with the gift of health then we have great faith conflicts and relationships we develop with Him we are extremely limited.

I have great concern and is not a secret for anyone who knows me, that for over 35 years we in the Church have chosen to develop this part of healing, healing of the sanatoria let's say, the mystery of God and often we have forgotten what is compassion, what love is, what is service and other aspects which God invites us to develop mainly by the knowledge we have of Him.

We come to God just to heal us, heal us of disease and when that happens everything is fine.

I have as a priest, the experience of many people who have been through cancer and the early days, what is good for drinking holy water, and only the doctor tells you and you're out of it, as if reliving God did not exist and that the relationship constantly with people who have accidents, with people having a heart attack, you already have an experience, one knows that lasts about a month after that happens, after that time people immediately returns to his old habit, that is mind, it has an intimate, deep with God, who still had a near death experience and is not that death has to get you closer to God, is that one is a being extremely concerned, one looks to God to be resolved in one of their issues, one does not seek God to express one's love you feel for him, the gratitude you feel for him, for having received life and be here now.

May almighty God bless you, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit descend over you, your family and jobs. May the Lord protect and be with you forever. Amen
